Hello.
I have a '69 Nuffield 4/25 tractor. Used regularly for topping, towing a
trailer and post hole boring. Wonderful little machine.
How can I find out how to establish what category 3 point linkage pins this
uses?
I've googled for ages but obviously not in the right places.

Reason for asking, I want to add a link box.
On which subject, any recommendations where to find a 5ft link box new or
used?
Would prefer tipping but that's not essential.

Thanks

Nick.

Jones will be home soon - watch this space 'cos he'll probably have an
answer.

Take a look in the Tractor and machinery magazines, local free advert
paper under Agriculture (this is what Jones would do).

Thanks ElaineJ (and Jones).
Very useful info.
I've been looking in mags and free papers for quite some while.
Link boxes seem to be a bit thin on the ground in this neck of the woods.
Will keep searching.
Thanks again
Nick.

www.bmcminitractor.co.uk may be a useful site some time in the future if not in this instance.

There's a Nuffield and Leyland Tractor Club - not very big and no
website as yet (Pam has only just got the hang of computer and email)
but has a small magazine every 2 months and a stand at quite a number
of vintage rallies; annual subscription about £15.

email me for more info if you're interested.

You will find that most link boxes use the cat 1 and 2 fitting that is
bolted through a hole on the frame (and you can never keep them tight!!).
This has cat 1 one end and cat 2 the other allowing either to be used.
Where are you? I have an old box up in the nettles which might do you.
Needs a bit of TLC (new floor etc) I'm in Hampshire.

Cheers Barleycorn.
